    No, I get it. You really don’t need to post an entire breakdown when I can read it on any gaming site. These never seem to take into account that manufacturing games has become much cheaper or that the majority of games are sold digitally which have negligible costs compared to physical. Maybe I’m wrong about that but at the end of the day we are still getting used to $70 when it comes to modern consoles—so Nintendo thinking their games are worth more than that on top of being a generation behind? It’s a shitty look, honestly, especially combined with the other crap that’s come out about pricing since the reveal

    It goes both ways I think too. Guys wouldn’t obsess over the idea that a single compliment might be flirting if they were more used to compliments in general from both sexes. On the other hand some guys are so afraid of misreading a compliment or normal friendliness that they can’t tell when someone actually is flirting. I sort of think there need to be more voices out there meant to speak directly to men and masc people about social literacy that aren’t trying to turn them into hateful, violent, incel republicans.

    Dude I loved Nioh and I love the story of Yasuke, so when I encountered him in the game I was psyched. It’s like, as a white American, if I’m writing a story about cowboys, and I find out that there was a Japanese guy that was a famous cowboy right at the time my story is set, and also clearly not talked about enough… hell yeah I’m putting that guy in there! Why should I be upset that he doesn’t look like me when that makes it so much more fascinating? That’s fucking awesome! People breaking the mold and shattering our expectations is cool, and always has been. If I’m a writer with a big fanbase and I have the opportunity to shine a light on something clearly awesome that most people don’t know about then hell yeah I want to make people know about it. These fucking people… not only are they racist and they’ve also lost their sense of wonder, their imagination, their sense of joy for a strange and unexpected world that we live in. What a miserable fucking way to live.

    Part of the irony being that even if it were true, there is no reason to make assumptions about human behavior and social structure based on other animals, especially… wild canines? Wtf? There’s a lot of different pack/grouping types throughout the animal kingdom—if anything it would make sense to compare humans to other apes, but at the end of the day it’s still a totally different species that also lacks the social complexity as well as culture and lifestyles humans are capable of because of our higher intelligence. We have some really fucking stupid cultural hang-ups
