There’s a game on Lumosity about remembering names.

I played that game for like ten minutes one day in 2017 and it permanently upgraded my name remembering.

Highly recommended.

Now I have to pretend to forget names sometimes just so it doesn’t freak people out.

They wound take that deal because without doing so they’d stop getting funding. Ukraine would be buying US support.

Yes they do. I follow an astronaut on X who’s got tons of photography equipment on the ISS and regularly posts shots of various cities at night and weather formations as seen from space. It’s pretty cool.

It’s interesting to discover the Chinese government uses less coercion than the US government in these situations.

With the US government’s right of Eminent Domain, there is no choice. The government does reimburse you, but there’s no choice involved.

The reason it’s associated with free markets is that people hiring other people — ie jobs existing — is what people decide to do when they are free to choose how to interact with one another.
